
Marti loves numbers and has ever since she was 6. We use her nerdy math skills to analyze research data, forecast future trends, and keep NGC’s checkbook in good shape. Marti also knows what it takes to engage the next generation of arts patrons.

Since 2006 Marti has led the only multi-year research dedicated to the issue of attracting, engaging and retaining younger patrons (ages 20-40) to the arts. Her research - underwritten by the Lilly Endowment and conducted with the leadership of the Arts Council of Indianapolis and participation from over two dozen arts organization - has become the focus of the bi-annual Next Audiences Summit, and the talk of art conferences across the U.S. and Canada
