YP Org Directory: YPIN - Young Professionals International Network

The Young Professionals International Network (YPIN) offers activities and social events geared especially to the interests of our members in their 20s and 30s. The group is designed for younger associates in business or other professional career tracks, students, and others with ties to or interest in international affairs and cultures. YPIN introduces young people to the work of the World Affairs Council and YPIN members show their support of international engagement by becoming members at a low-cost, introductory rate ($40 annually). YPIN is run by a volunteer board and fills a unique niche in Seattle's "young professional" scene. It brings together a very diverse group of 20- and 30-somethings with intellectual curiosity, a wide range of backgrounds and opinions, and an interest in engaging the world around them. YPIN serves this large community by planning and hosting a wide range of events, language groups, and discussions. The YPIN board organizes the speakers, venues, finances, and other logistics of these fun and engaging events. YPIN membership is not required to attend most YPIN events, although members receive discounts at all events, and are invited to special members-only events.
