The Young Professional Society of Greater Springfield represents the region's corporate, non-profit, and cultural interests by engaging an under 40 demographic in several distinct areas. YPS is concentrating efforts on business & career development and networking; social & cultural involvement; and community activism through nonprofit organizations & volunteerism. The group holds various monthly events. ‘Third Thursdays', is a social and business networking event held at various locations throughout the Pioneer Valley; attendance averages 200 young professionals per month. The Business Development sector's "CEO Luncheon" spotlights local business leaders and allows them to share their experience. The Non-Profit/Volunteerism area of YPS works to support dozens of deserving causes throughout the region.
