Pierre Young Professionals' (PYP) mission is to create excitement about living in Pierre in order to attract and retain diverse young professionals – to make Pierre a community in which young professionals want to live and work. What that means to you… PYP is your chance to make Pierre more than just a place to work. It's your opportunity to have fun, do stuff with people your age, and make Pierre feel like home. Have you ever seen young people around town, and wondered who they are? Ever noticed a group out having fun, and thought it's odd that there seem to be lots of people your age around, but no real way to connect? Well here's your chance. Designed by young professionals, for young professionals.... One of PYP's top priorities is to simply make Pierre the kind of place young professionals want to live by letting people come together and plan fun events. No more sitting at home and watching the tube. Get out there! Make friends! Get connected! But beyond that…. PYP is your opportunity to get plugged into the community. By getting involved in PYP, you'll have a forum to get your voice heard, network with community and state leaders, and lobby for what will make Pierre better for our generation. Plus, you'll have the chance to develop professionally and personally with special training, seminars, and civic causes.
