The Junior Chamber (Jaycees) is a group of young professional men and women ranging in ages from twenty-one to forty. What makes the Junior Chamber (Jaycees) stand out from many other civic organizations is that we concentrate on personal growth and leadership development of the individual. Our motto - Personal Growth and Leadership Development through Community Involvement. The Howell Junior Chamber (Jaycees) is an affiliate organization of the, the United States Junior Chamber (UCJC), and the Junior Chamber International (JCI). The Junior Chamber (Jaycee) movement began in 1921 as a commitment to leadership development for young adults, and is known worldwide as a training ground for community leaders.
