HavenHouse St. Louis was founded in 2004 and is a tax-exempt, 501C3. With the mission to provide the comfort of home and a community of support for families traveling to St. Louis for medical care, HavenHouse recognizes that families traveling to St. Louis for medical treatment are in great need of a nurturing place to stay, and a supportive environment. St. Louis is fortunate to have many exceptional hospitals with international reputations for care. HavenHouse offers private rooms and bathrooms, free laundry facilities, community gathering rooms, resource and internet library, full size gymnasium, art and gross motor rooms, and a full-size cafeteria on a beautiful 19-acre campus in west St. Louis county. In order to minimize the worries and stresses of our families, HavenHouse has staff available 24/7 and provides home-cooked meals, transportation 3 times daily to and from local hospitals, recreational opportunities and family fun nights, community resources and case management services. HavenHouse provide what a family needs so that they can solely focus on the healing process of their loved one. The Young Professionals Board of HavenHouse St. Louis helps fundraise for and promote HavenHouse in the St. Louis community. The YPB hosts an annual fundraiser.
