So you moved to the mountains because you like to hike, you like to ski, or perhaps because they beat looking out at the cornfields of Iowa. You moved to Colorado Springs because it was right on the mountain. Not far away like Denver. You even found a place that was within a short bike ride of the trails that cost just a bit more than your space back in the Midwest or a bit less than the shoebox you moved out of in the big city that didn't have a hot water heater. But where are the people? That is where we come in. We started the Colorado Springs Young Professionals to find the good people in this town and put them in the same room. We are in our work lifes entrepreneurs, Vice Presidents, financial advisors, non-profit types, sales reps, drug reps, nurses, and more. In our free time we ski, mountain bike, hike, go to wine tastings, walk through art galleries, go off roading, read, watch movies, go out on the town, or hit the gym. We are a group that likes to live life. We know where the food is, art galleries, bike shops, and so forth are. Hence why we have our "2 Hour Social Hour" once a month and organize less formal events the rest of the time. To help people meet other great people. We're open to anyone. Which is why you'll never see us promoting any religious or political group. Not because we don't have our own beliefs on each, but to avoid being labled and thus turning people off. We want everyone, from the guy who just got his green card to the rancher who's family has been on the same piece of land for 100 years. Republican or Democrat.
