The Cleveland Council on World Affairs Young Professionals program provides a dynamic setting for early to mid-career CCWA members to discuss global issues while sharing a connection to the greater Cleveland area, its local promise, and to the rest of the world. The Young Professionals' unique programming is designed by its members to provide an informal forum for lively discussion and networking. The Young Professionals is open to all Council members 40 years of age and under and receive full membership privileges within the Council. Of course non-members and the "young-at-heart" are encouraged to attend CCWA YP events. CCWA Young Professional events often include networking at ethnic restaurants, discussing major international issues with experts over dinner and participating in cultural events such as film screenings and ethnic festivals. The Cleveland Council on World Affairs: Founded in 1923 to promote world peace, the Council is a not-for-profit, nonpartisan organization that encourages international understanding through public lectures, informal discussions, international visitor exchanges, corporate activities and school programs throughout Northeast Ohio.
