Ba-Rock On!
As President Obama was sworn in today, whitehouse.gov got a face lift. At exactly 12 PM EST, the new site went live, with photos, campaign themes…and a blog. The first post was about one of President Obama’s campaign themes, transparency:
“One
significant addition to WhiteHouse.gov reflects a campaign promise from
the President: we will publish all non-emergency legislation to the
website for five days, and allow the public to review and comment
before the President signs it.”
Kudos to our first Gen X president for bringing technology to Washington… and connecting with the next generation. We look forward to working together to renew the promise of American for our next generation.
