If I had a nickel for every time someone asked me, “how’d you start your business?” I’d probably have about three bucks. But enough people have asked over the years that I think people ARE interested - if not in my business, then in what it’s like to be an entrepreneur. Deep down, they probably want to know, “do I have what it takes to do what she did?”
I gotta tell ya - being an entrepreneur is hard friggin work. I’m up early. I work weekends. I worry a lot, although not as much as the early days. And I love nearly every second of it. It’s addictive, and I feel very lucky that I discovered my vice when I still had the guts to flip the bird to corporate America and start my own gig.
If you’re thinking about becoming an entrepreneur - or just leading a more creative life - than feast your eyes and heart on this butt-kick of a blog by one of England’s top bloggers, Hugh McLeod.
