Five Reasons Mentoring Programs Fail

In response to a Twitter question, Rebecca Ryan recorded this video (4:22) to share five reasons mentoring programs fail. Can't watch the video? Here are the 5 points:
   1. Lack of purpose; no one asks "Why?"
   2. The culture is allergic to mentoring.
   3. Mentors are wrong people to mentor.
   4. Mentees are not chosen with clear intention.
   5. No measurable outcomes.
