In 2005, Next Generation Consulting began work with the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce, to assist in its workforce attraction and retention efforts. Over the course of two years, the Chamber reached out to thousands of young professionals in the region, and developed a dynamic strategic plan that investors supported, and stakeholders embraced. In 2008, Akron was named an All-American City.
Join Rebecca Ryan and Becky Guzy Woodford, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce, in this pre-recorded webcast, as they reflect on Akron’s success and challenges during the project and since its conclusion. - Drive discussion with the city council, mayor and other community stakeholders to create a community that’s more engaging to all generations; and
- Use NGC’s Handprinting process and YP involvement to drive commitment for the Chamber’s workforce development initiatives.
