Marti's Top Five Talents: Learner, Futuristic, Relator, Responsibility, Achiever
The last great book I read: I'm working on Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace, however a long vacation is needed to put a sizable dent in it.
My favorite meal: Seared ahi tuna on the grill with asparagus at home, with a close second of a walnut burger at The Harmony Bar and Grill.
If I had an extra 5 hours every week: I would take longer, meandering walks through new neighborhoods.
My favorite “Next City”: Madison because of the people, the seasons, and the freaks. Sante Fe is a close second.
If I could go anywhere for an entire month: I would be in the country side gardening in the summer months in rural WI or France. Some days would be spent biking and camping and all days eating delicious, fresh food. I'd be as happy as a pig in sh*!.
The one thing I want everyone to know about NGC: We're a thoughtful group who puts wellness first.
The last song I downloaded to my iPod/iPhone: Natalie Merchant's new album, Leave Your Sleep. Can't wait to see her in Milwaukee this summer!
One thing I like about my job: The variety of projects and the great people I get to work with.
One wish I have for the next generation: They continue to carry the torch forward with an open mind, learning from mistakes made and brilliant innovations of previous generations.
I am energized: By organization, tidiness, timeliness, nature, big ideas and strategic thinkers.

My favorite quote: “The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost,
to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”
– Eleanor Roosevelt
