In 2004 Young Professionals of Milwaukee (now FUEL Milwaukee ) conceived, designed and hosted the first annual young professional summit (now know as the Next Leaders Summit) bringing together about 50 YP leaders from throughout the country.  In 2005, FUEL Milwaukee hosted the Summit for the second year doubling the attendance and offering another great Milwaukee and YP experience. 

In 2006 Next Generation Consulting took on the responsibility for managing and growing the annual event with attendance of more than 200 and has partnered with various YPOs and cities to serve as hosts:

2006: Madison’s Magnet , Madison, WI 

2007: Young Professionals Association of Louisville , Louisville, KY

2008: Young Professionals of Brevard , Cocoa Beach, FL
