YAiF Cincinnati Experience Summit Podcasts

The Young Architects and interns Forum (YAiF-Cincinnati) is a committee of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Cincinnati chapter open to architectural students, interns, and architects registered for less than 10 years. In an attempt to introduce Cincinnati to the folks attending the Next Leader's Summit, YAiF Cincinnati's members have recorded and produced 7 short discussions on locations in downtown and Over-the-Rhine which are culturally, historically, and architecturally significant. They hope you enjoy listening to them as much as they did making them!

Look Up Moment:  While on Fountain Square look up and admire Cincinnati’s current tallest building, the orange glowing 1930’s Art Deco Carew Tower.  This building won’t be the city’s tallest for long however, because the new taller Queen City Square is rising a few blocks away!

Friday September 18

Dinner costs will range from $8-$12 plus cash bar.

Historical Fact: Getting across the Ohio River to Ohio meant freedom for many African-American slaves on the Underground Railroad.  Today it is one of the busiest commercial waterways in the United States.
