Join the Arts Council of Indianapolis and Next Generation Consulting October 15-16, 2009!
The Next Audiences Summit is the only forum in the U.S. dedicated to dialogue, experimentation, and best practice sharing from in — and outside — the arts, focusing on the critical issue of attracting and developing future patrons.
Building on the overwhelming success of the 2007 Summit, participants at the 2009 Next Audiences Summit will:
- Hear from Sarah "Intellagirl" Robbins, one of the world's leading Web 2.0 and social networking experts, about how to build an effective online strategy to engage next-gen patrons;
- Learn how Disney stages magical experiences for multiple generations of fans and their families;
- Talk with peers who'll share "the good, the bad and the unexpected" from their social networking experiences, and learn what technologies they're investing in now to drive attendance and interest in their events;
- Be inspired by Dan Pallotta, author of Uncharitable , who will push us to rethink our nonprofit business model;
- Get caught up on the third year of "next-gen" research in Indianapolis, focused on attracting and developing 20-40 year old patrons;
- Learn from some of the best, your peers. Arts organizations nationwide will be presenting their best practices for reaching and engaging new patrons; and
- Experience some of Indianapolis's finest arts and culture venues, including The Children's Museum, Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, and the Indiana State Museum.
The Next Audience Summit brings you the freshest thinking, the latest research, and leading practitioners dedicated to engaging new audiences. Join your peers - Executive Directors, Creative Directors, Board Members, Marketing Directors, staff and volunteers - to learn what works - and what doesn't - to engage next-gen patrons.
This year’s Summit is once again brought to you by the Arts Council of Indianapolis and Next Generation Consulting.
